Tomorrow is the day. The day that I have been waiting to come for about five months. Tomorrow is the day me, seven other OC students, and Kent leave the country to strengthen the churches in Australia that were established long ago. I am nervous BEYOND belief, but it's a good nervous. God has prepared me for the next month, it seems, all my life.
There are a few "firsts" for me on this trip. First time to go out of the country. First time to not see my parents for a month. First time to fly over an ocean. First time...
I am ready to talk with new people about Christ, to tell them about myself, to share my faith, to get to know these people, to fall in love with them, to see how others live in another part of the world, and to see God's love in the Church thousands of miles away from home.
To those who follow this blog, I'm sorry in advance. I will try not to make visiting my blog boring for you. To those who have supported me through prayers and financially, I thank you a million times over. To my parents, thank you for not freaking out when I told you I was officially going to another continent without you. :) Lastly, I thank God for blessing me with this opportunity to spread His word in Australia. Without Him, I am nothing. I know none of this would be possible without Him.
Please continue praying for our team and those we will be working with. I love you all!
