7 days left. I can't believe that it has been over three weeks since we arrived in Australia. The past weeks have been more than I imagined them to be. I have loved everything that we have done, who we talked to, who we've met, and what we've learned. Even though we have a a full week left to do many more things, I am starting to realize that I will soon miss this place and the people we have come into contact with.
This next part has nothing to do with Australia, but for 14 years straight I have loaded on to the church bus to head to camp with everyone at Eastside and several other congregations. I know I am in Australia and being here has been such a blessing, but I'm said that the group left to head to Quarts Mountain without me. I am glad for the people going this week and I hope they have a ton of fun and learn more about God and build lasting relationships with friends. Here's a shout out to everyone that I love that are at camp this week. I ask for your forgiveness for me not being there, but Australia is where I needed to be this summer. Eat lots of camp food, sing a lot of good songs, climb the "mountain", yell "FIRE! FIRE! FIRE! really loud, do crafts and make Clay feel special for me this week!! I love all of you campers, counselors, and youth ministers all the way from Australia!
